Take a reading

Six readings from a short month.

  • The new job starts Monday. The first paycheck is three weeks out.
  • The electric bill after a heatwave month. You knew it was coming. You still winced.
  • Car registration, due in full, the same week as the dentist.
  • The washing machine quit with four loads waiting.
  • A parking ticket that doubles if it waits for payday.
  • The spreadsheet balances to the dollar. The month does not.

If one of those is your week, size one request here. $100 – $5,000, sent once to a network of lenders. Some lenders fund as soon as the next business day, if approved.

Three readings

Measure. Compare. Decide.

One pass along the level. You set the amount, lenders reply on their own terms, and the last reading is yours to take or leave.

Measure the request

Set the amount between $100 – $5,000 and answer a few short questions about income and contact details. About three minutes on a phone, encrypted end to end.

Lenders compare it

Your request reaches a network of lenders and lending partners. Each one weighs it against its own rules and replies on its own terms. No promise is made on their behalf.

Replies often within minutes

You decide

If a lender makes an offer, its rate, fees and repayment dates are laid out before anything is signed. Accept it, or close the page with nothing owed.

If approved, as soon as the next business day
One straight boundary line between two measured fields at dawn, the AssessLending promise of clear loan terms from $100 – $5,000

The boundary line

Nothing gets signed until it has been measured.

Every offer arrives with its rate, its fees and its repayment dates set out first. You read the whole thing. Then you decide, in your own time.

How a request travels

Why AssessLending

Built to be level with you.

AssessLending is not a lender. We carry one request to lenders who decide on their own terms, and we hold three things steady while they do.

  • I

The rate is printed before the signature line

Every offer shows its rate, fees and repayment dates in full before you agree to any of it. If a number is missing, the offer is not finished.

  • II

    One request, carried once

You write it one time. It reaches the network as you wrote it, so you are not repeating yourself across five tabs and a lobby.

  • III

A soft look leaves your score where you found it

Checking your options is a soft inquiry. It won't affect your credit score. A fuller check only happens if you go ahead with a lender's own offer.

Before you press send

The questions worth asking first.

Who actually lends the money on AssessLending?

A lender in the network does, never AssessLending. We are a connection service, not a lender: your request is carried to lenders and lending partners, and any offer, rate or repayment schedule comes from the lender that makes it.

What does a lender weigh on a $100 – $5,000 request?

Mostly your income and how it arrives, what you already owe each month compared with that income, your bank account history and your credit file. A score is one input, not the whole measure, which is why all credit types are considered.

Will sizing a request leave a mark on my credit report?

Checking your options won't affect your credit score. At this stage lenders use a soft look. If you go ahead with a specific offer, that lender may run a fuller credit check as part of its own process.

How soon could money reach my account, realistically?

That depends on the lender and on when you accept. Some lenders fund as soon as the next business day, if approved. Weekends, holidays and your own bank's posting times can add a day, and the lender's offer will state its timing.

My bank turned me down last month. Is it worth sending a request?

It can be. A bank applies one rulebook; a network of lenders applies many, and some weigh steady income more heavily than a thin or bruised credit file. There is no promise of an offer, but one request is free to send and nothing is owed for looking.

What happens if I don't like the offer?

You decline it, and that is the end of it. Nothing is owed and nothing is signed until you choose to accept. Every offer shows its rate, fees and repayment dates first so you can weigh it on its own numbers.
